Rooms
The hotel and stable building dates back to 1804 and was build by the Duke of Rutland on the site of the old White Horse Inn. Each of the 35 rooms here at the Rutland Hotel are styled to ensure that the history of the buildings has been retained and many have enviable views of the town and surrounding landscape.
A selection of single, twin and double bedded rooms are available in both the main hotel building and the courtyard building which is situated across the road from the main building adjacent to our Antiques Centre. Family rooms and Four Poster rooms are also available.
Those in the main hotel building have recently been refurbished, a selection of which are pictured below.
Although there is no lift at The Rutland Arms, you may request a ground floor room in the courtyard subject to availability.
All meals are taken in 'The Square', our award winning resturant, or the hotel bar.
The bedrooms in the main hotel building have recently been refurbished - here's just a few of them
